About T4Test
An independent engineering consultancy led by Dr.-Ing. Tanvir Hussain — combining deep functional safety expertise with systems engineering and quality management.
Who we are
T4Test is the consulting vehicle of Dr.-Ing. Tanvir Hussain, a TÜV-certified Functional Safety Engineer for both automotive (ISO 26262) and industrial systems (ISO 13849). Based in Bavaria, Germany, with clients across Europe.
The practice combines 15+ years of hands-on experience in safety-critical systems development — from Fraunhofer IESE research to senior consulting roles at MathWorks, and long-running freelance engagements with Tier-1 automotive suppliers including Schaeffler, GKN Automotive, Voith HySTech and Manitowoc.
What makes us different
- Dual depth — equally strong in hands-on technical safety engineering (HARA, FMEA, FTA, SW safety, MBSE) and in management/process consulting (ASPICE, QM, coaching).
- Cross-industry — automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial automation. A rare breadth across regulated domains.
- Tool-vendor background — 3+ years at MathWorks developing and consulting on the MATLAB/Simulink safety toolchain.
- Research roots — Fraunhofer IESE, award-winning model-based testing research, and part-time lectureship at TU Kaiserslautern.
- TÜV dual-certified — both automotive (ISO 26262) and industrial systems (ISO 13849).
- Independent consultant track record — 6+ years running multiple engagements in parallel at major accounts.
